Full Mission Profile (FMP)

Unlike other units, a Special Forces ODA is responsible for driving its own missions, rather than being handed missions from higher or other units to execute.  Doing so requires an ODA to collect intel in its Area of Operations (AO), figure out who the bad guys are, plan a mission to get them, coordinate anything needed and execute.

To ensure we are always on top of our game with all pieces of this puzzle, ODA’s and companies will perform Full Mission Profile’s from time to time, starting with a randomly issued Warning Order (WARNO) which sends the ODA into mission planning and preparation for the mission.

The funny part is that you don’t actually know it’s an FMP rather than a real mission until you start preparations to launch, when you’re issued simulation rounds rather than live rounds and a map of a local area.
